Police Log: Domestic Disputes, Fraud and Disturbances

The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

September 20 – Disturbances

  • 2100 block of Philmont Ave.

Police responded to a reported fight between a male and a female at Sant World Business Campus. When police arrived it saw a car leaving the complex with two males and female.

The driver, Boris Mikhailov, 20, and the female passenger, Ervina Bertusaityte, 20, had been involved in a verbal argument. Both stated they were going through a relationship problem, but there was no signs of physical struggle. They told police it was just a verbal argument. Police drove the female back to her residence.

September 16 – Fraud

  • Holy Redeemer Health Services

Police responded to a suspicious call made to an employee’s cell phone at Holy Redeemer Health Services. Katherine Zanine, 49, of Willow Grove, said she received a phone call from someone named Officer Brian Jackson from the Crime Information Center.

He would not allow her to ask questions and told her there was a complaint against her. Then he was stating her name, address, date of birth, social security number, cell phone number, work number and TD Bank information, and wanted her to confirm. She didn’t confirm the information and hung up the phone. She received another call on her cell phone with a voicemail, and four subsequent calls to her work phone al within a half hour.

Officers spoke to Jackson on the phone and it was from a Miami, Fla. location. When they told Jackson he was speaking to another officer, he hung up. Β 

September 15 – Harassment

  • 3400 block of Pine Road

Diane McMullin, 60, called LMPD to report that Carolyn Gunsenhouser, 53, was at the rear door of the home on Pine Road causing a disturbance. When police arrived Gunsenhouser was loud and boisterous. She didn’t understand why she was terminated and not allowed at the residence and said that Diane was not capable of taking care of her mother, Louis.

Police spoke with Diane and didn’t see any reason why she was no capable of taking care of her mother. Gunsenhouser collected all of her personal belongings that were at the residence and was given a verbal warning for harassment and advised not to have further contact with Louis or Diane.
