Police Log: DUI, Theft and Criminal Mischief
The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

For the first time in a while, there are no incidents involving the Discovery House or Heroin users:
February 27 β Criminal Mischief
- 3000 block of Franks Rd.
Police found graffiti sprayed on the entire east side wall of the building at 3021 Franks Rd. There was also graffiti sprayed on a propane tank. There were numerous markings in various colors. The building backs up to ABC Daycare in Philadelphia.

February 26 β DUI
- Area of Huntingdon Pike and Fettersmill Rd.
Marie Jeffers, 47, of Philadelphia, was charged with DUI after a preliminary breath test revealed a reading of 0.15% BAC. She also did not satisfactorily complete the field sobriety tests. Police saw Jeffers in her black Dodge Caravan traveling on Huntingdon Pike. Police saw she had a flat front passenger tire, but Jeffers did not pull her car over. She told police she was looking for a gas station to help repair her car.

While speaking with Jeffers, an officer detected the odor of alcohol on her breath. She also showed signs of impairment, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. A search of the car revealed an open, partially empty New Amsterdam Vodka bottle.
February 26 β DUI
- Area of Byberry Rd. & Huntingdon Pike
Alexsander Bronshteyn, 42, of Warrington, was charged with DUI after registering a .135 BAC on a preliminary breath test. An officer stopped him after he observed him swerving in and out of lanes numerous times on Byberry Rd. Police asked Bronshteyn if he had been drinking prior to driving, and Bronshteyn said, βnot much.β He displayed poor concentration, balance and failed to follow directions.
February 23 β Theft
- 2300 block of Huntingdon Pike
William Howland, 77, reported that a $20 rebate check from Pep Boys was stolen from his car. Howland left his passenger door unlocked as he was visiting a medical office. When he returned to his car the check was gone. Howland said the check was in plain view, and another check for $8 from his insurance company was still in his car. There was no physical damage to the car.
