Police Log: Egged Cars in Albidale, More Morphine and Theft

The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department

October 26 – Criminal Mischief

  • 2600 block of Philmont Ave.

Officers discovered graffiti on the back wall of the building at 2655 Philmont Ave.Β  The door, on the north side facing east, had the word β€œDAZE” written it on painted in all white capital letters. There was an asterisk in the center of the β€œD,”

October 24 – Theft

  • 1100 block of Mettler Rd.

Police responded to a report of theft at 1142 Mettler Rd. The owner, Eugina Bubb, 59, told police she discovered the jewelry stored in a dresser drawer had been missing. Additionally, she found numerous jewelry boxes that had been open, emptied and thrown back in the drawer. Her husband’s rings had also been taken from his dresser. Bubb plans to file an official report with a detailed list of what was stolen.

October 24 – Vandalism

  • Albidale Neighborhood

There were numerous reports of cars being egged in Albidale. LMPD found a black, Acura 3.2TL on Meadowlark Drive. There were egg cartons from WAWA found on Cardinal Lane and Broadmore Rd. Another car, a 2000 Toyota Camry was egged in front of Cardinal Lane. A grey, Nissan Maxima was also egged on Sheffield Drive, and a black, Acura 3.2CL was egged in front of a Robin Road house.

White, Buick Regal (Warfield Drive)

October 24 – Theft

  • Victory Ambulance – 31 Tomlinson Rd.

Pavel Strijakov, 21, the owner of Victory Ambulance, reported numerous items stolen from an ambulance on the property. A Reeves stretcher ($200), a portable suction device ($150) and a small medical bag with supplies ($100) were all taken.

October 22 – Public Drunkenness

  • Area of Huntingdon Valley Library

Garrett Nigro, 27, was charged with public drunkenness after he was seen staggering down Red Lion Rd. His eyes were bloodshot and his speech was slurred. He registered a 0.136 on the PBT test.

October 21 – Narcotics Possession

  • Area of Byberry and Philmont

Yevgeniy Torsunov, 19, of Trevose, has charges pending against him for possession of narcotics. Officers originally pulled him over for having a rear taillight out. LMPD found a glass pipe in his car, and Torsunov admitted to having β€œMorphine pills” in his pocket, and cops found another white pill in his car. After testing, it was discovered the pills were β€œDilaudid,” a controlled substance.
