The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department

June 6 – Vandalism
- 2600 block of Barry Lane
At 10:48 a.m. a resident in the 2600 block of Barry Lane reported someone removed most of the lug nuts on his Cadillac Escalade. The owner reported that that vehicle was secured the night before. The next day his wife found the wheel hub covers were removed and the lug nuts were piled neatly near the tires.

- Area of Huntingdon Pike
Police stopped Sanjiv Patel, of Philadelphia, at 2:08 a.m. for speeding on Huntingdon Pike. Patel made a left turn southbound on Huntingdon Pike without using a turn signal, police said. He was stopped on Huntingdon Pike past Moreland Road.
When stopped, police noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverages on his breath, glassy eyes and slurred speech. He said he had been drinking prior to driving, and he registered at 0.130 BAC when tested. DUI charges are pending lab analysis, police said.
June 5 – DUI/drug possession
- 2335 Walton Rd.
Police were dispatched to a vehicle accident at 2335 Walton Rd. at 8:34 a.m. Upon arrival, police found a gray 2002 Honda Accord had struck a tree head-on, police said. The driver, Thomas Matthew Kutner, 20, of the 2300 block of Stahl Road, told police he took his prescription for anxiety that morning. A search of the vehicle found a bottle of prescription drugs for Oxycodone.

Criminal charges will be filed upon analysis of the items found, police said.
June 4 – Vandalism
- 800 block of Robin Lane
At 2:52 p.m. a resident from the 800 block of Robin Lane reported that his 2001 Audi A4 was egged around 7 p.m. June 3. The owner does not know anyone who would want to damage his vehicle.
June 4 – Underage drinking
- 2771 Philmont Ave.
Two females were cited for underage drinking at 9:50 p.m. when an officer noticed a green Subaru Forester parked in a parking lot at 2771 Philmont Ave.
The two females, 17 and 16, told police they pulled over because their friend had gotten sick. Police then noticed a female passenger, 16, lying across the back seat, and detected a strong smell of vomit and alcohol.
Police said they noticed a strong odor of vomit and alcohol. All three eventually submitted to a preliminary breath test. The two 16-year-olds were cited and released to their parents, police said.
June 4 – PFA Violation
- 100 block of Marc Lane
At 9:54 p.m. police were dispatched to the 100 block Marc Lane for a domestic in progress. Upon arrival, the complainant said his estranged wife was in his back yard in violation of a PFA. According to police, Sally Zibelman, 60, came to the complainant’s house and threw lawn chairs and pads into the pool, and also pulled a plant out of a large urn and threw it into the yard.
She was placed under arrest for indirect criminal contempt for violating the PFA order, police said. According to police, this was the sixth time she has violated the PFA since May 8.
Zibelman was arraigned and bail was set at $20,000, which she could not post. She was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, police said.
June 4 – DUI
- 200 block of Welsh Rd.
Police observed a blue Chevrolet Malibu traveling South on Huntingdon Pike at a high rate of speed, police said, and the car crossed the double yellow lines on Huntingdon Pike near Red Lion Road. Police eventually stopped the vehicle in the 200 block of Welsh Road.
The driver, Jeffrey Faino, 32, of the 1800 block of Stanwood Street, Philadelphia, took a preliminary breath test that revealed a 0.08 percent BAC. The passenger, Robert Kauwling Jr., of the 1400 block of Vista Street, Philadelphia, was asked to exit the vehicle, police said. Police conducted a pat down and found a cigar and a small plastic container, which contained a green leafy substance, police said. Kauwling then admitted to possessing a small amount of marijuana, police said.
A search of the vehicle revealed several other illegal articles relevant to drug use, police said.
Faino was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and controlled substance, police said. He was taken to Holy Redeemer Hospital for blood work, where charges will be filed upon further analysis by NMS, police said.
Kauwling was charged with possession, police said.
