Police Log - March 20
The following incidents occurred in Lower Moreland and were reported by the Police Department.

March 14 β Theft
The owner of Tower Maintenance, 804 Welsh Rd., contacted police at 9:26 a.m. after the video surveillance tape revealed someone had illegally disposed of 21 bags of yard waste into his dumpster over the weekend.
March 14 β Possession
Dritan Hyseni, 21, of Philadelphia, was stopped at 3:47 p.m. for failing to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of High and Ely roads, police said. An officer detected the smell of marijuana, and a search of the vehicle revealed two suspected marijuana cigarettes, a glass pipe and an open bottle of liquor in the trunk.

A small bag of suspected marijuana was also found on his person, and he was taken to Holy Redeemer Hospital for blood testing after failing sobriety testing. Criminal charges are pending lab results, police added.
March 13 β DUI
A 16-year-old male was arrested for DUI at 3:24 a.m. after he was seen drifting and speeding on Byberry Rd. He was taken to Holy Redeemer Hospital for blood testing and a juvenile petition will be filed, police said. A 17-year-old passenger was given a citation for underage drinking.

March 12 β Public drunkenness
Reggie Estrich, 36, of Philadelphia, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a small amount of marijuana, at 4:10 a.m. on Byberry Rd.
March 12 β DUI
Karyn Lewin, 55, of the 400 block of Long Lane, was arrested at 2:07 p.m. after an officer found her vehicle blocking the northbound lane of Huntingdon Pike near Byberry Rd. She appeared disoriented and failed field sobriety tests.
Two pill bottles containing Percocet, Endocet, Oxycotin and Adderall were found, and she was taken to Holy Redeemer Hospital for blood testing.
March 11 β Burglary
A resident of the unit block of Glendale Drive found his home had been entered through a second-floor window using a ladder. Two handguns, a gold necklace and a watch were reported missing.
March 11 β Attempted Theft
It was reported at 6:02 p.m. that a car parked at the Philmont Train Station, 120 Tomlinson Rd., was entered and the ignition, column cover and $3 in change had been taken.
March 9 β Harassment
Blaine Hill, 26, and Nickolas Tinari, 56, both of the 600 block of Red Lion Rd., were cited for harassment at 11:58 p.m. after they got into a physical altercation about Hill having friends over without permission, police said.
