Police Log: Vandalism in Albidale, DUI and Theft
The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

March 4 β Criminal Mischief to Automobile
- 800 block of Welsh Rd.
Gilbert Goldstein, 69, of Churchville, reported damage that was discovered to his white 1975 MG convertible, which was parked at Ross Mechanical, 814 Welsh Rd. According to Goldstein, he had parked his car at his business during the winter to make plowing his driveway at home easier.Β
Goldstein left work on Friday and the car was in fine condition. On Sunday, Goldstein returned to the parking lot to find the cover off of his car and the top was down. He also found the driverβs seat to be pushed all the way back. Goldstein said nothing was stolen from the car, but noticed a rip in the convertible cover that would cost around $500 to repair.

March 4 β DUI
- 700 block of Welsh Rd.
Matthew Snyder, 23, of Abington, was cited for DUI after submitting to a PBT test with a reading of .105 BAC. Police pulled Snyder over on Welsh road for driving with a flat tire on the front passenger side. During the βWalk and Turnβ field sobriety test, Snyder said, βIβm drunk, I admit it.β

March 3 β Theft
- Lower Moreland High School, 555 Red Lion Rd.
Diane Gallagher, of Huntingdon Valley, reported that her son had his 16GB iPhone 4 stolen. Her son was participating in the βUltimate Challengeβ at the high school on Friday night and put his phone and keys down on the bleachers and placed a t-shirt on top of them. At the end of the night he realized his iPhone had been missing. Mr. Mayson and Hector, the school custodian, checked the gym thoroughly but could not find the iPhone.
The Gallagherβs are currently working on obtaining the serial number to the iPhone for police.

- 1999 white GMC Savana β Wright Drive
- 2001 blue BMW 740iL β Wright Drive
Police found an empty 18-count βGiantβ brand carton at the intersection of Gantt Dr. and Marquis Lane. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the actors.
