Road Rage Incident Turns Physical, Police Say

Two Huntingdon Valley residents have been cited after a verbal exchange following an alleged traffic violation turned physical, according to Lower Moreland Police.

Alvin Borowsky, 78, of Meadowlark Drive was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct after police said he claimed to “defend” himself from Noah J. Goldman, 61, of Red Barn Lane, who police said followed behind Borowsky and confronted him about allegedly driving through a stop sign without stopping on the evening of July 25.

Goldman was cited for disorderly conduct stemming from the incident.

According to the police report, Goldman and his wife saw the vehicle driven by Borowsky, while traveling east on Warfield Lane “disregard” the stop sign governing Warfield Lane traffic.

Goldman, who police said was concerned that this could have caused a vehicle crash, then followed Borowsky east then north on Warfield Lane in order to “verbally confront” the driver.

Borowsky pulled over on Bobwhite Lane, according to police and the Goldmans pulled up alongside the car. Mr. Goldman allegedly said, “In this neighborhood we stop at stop signs.” 

Borowsky was said to have driven away after the brief exchange, according to police and the Goldmans allegedly followed him. The two stopped on Killdeer Lane and both men exited their vehicles, according to police.

According to the police report, Borowsky punched Goldman in the chest twice and in his face twice and allegedly admitted to police that he “slapped him around” after feeling threatened.
