'Suspicious' Couple Sought By Police In Lower Moreland

LOWER MORELAND, PA — Police in Lower Moreland are asking for the public's help in identifying and tracking down a "suspicious" couple who they said trespassed at a local home.

The incident occurred on Friday, July 21 at around 8:44 p.m., Lower Moreland Police said this week.

Security footage caught the pair walking into the unfenced backyard of a home near the intersection of Red Lion Road and Pine Road, police said.

Once they arrived, they looked into the back windows of the home, and the man opened a grill cover and appeared to inspect the propane tank beneath it, according to authorities.

Police said they're unsure what the couple were up to.

"It was not known if the male/female were casing the home/property for a future crime," Lower Moreland Police said. "Their identities are not known to the property owner, nor any of the neighbors."
