- Lower Moreland graduate Seth Rovner had his television show, 'The Supernaturalist,' debut on the Discovery Channel. Rovner has been practicing magic for years,

- The Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust held its to help celebrate the Fourth of July. Families and outdoor enthusiasts enjoyed a fun-filled night of learning while getting to see the sky illuminated.
- Catherine Amon went to trial on a vehicular homicide charge for the death of Huntingdon Valley resident Raymond Bloemker. On the first day in court, she blamed her car crash on black ice, and not the drugs and alcohol she consumed hours before the accident.
