Valley Youth Center Official Re-Opening Set for Friday

There will be a special dedication ceremony on Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. to honor those involved in the re-opening of the Valley Youth Center at the lower level of the HV Library parking lot.

The Valley Youth Center will hold its official re-opening ceremony Fri., Sept. 23, from 7-10 p.m. The dedication at the lower level of the Huntingdon Valley Library begins at 7 p.m. and everyone is invited to celebrate 14 years of community service.

All community members, parents and children from the past and present are cordially invited to celebrate with us on this special day.

We are proud that we have been providing volunteer services to the children and community groups for many years and harboring a safe haven. Our center also mentors children in grades 6-12 and it gives the students an opportunity to gain community service credits.

Mark Bellomo and Brian Schnarr will be recognized with a short dedication ceremony. Because of their vision, devotion and tireless efforts we have all benefited for many years and have this wonderful center to enjoy. We will also be honoring some other key people in our community that have helped us along the way.

Food and refreshments will be served.
