LOWER MORELAND, PA — Local police are searching for the individual who stole a 2022 Range Rover from a residential driveway mere minutes after the victim arrived home.

The theft occurred on March 9 at around 9:30 in the evening at a home close to County Line Road and Huntingdon Pike in the Huntingdon Valley section of Lower Moreland Township.

Lower Moreland Police say that the vehicle was stolen around seven minutes after the victim pulled into the driveway, where she left the keys in the vehicle with it running.

The theft was not actually reported until about an hour later, police said.

New Jersey State Police troopers responded to the location, but the vehicle was already gone by the time law enforcement arrived, according to Lower Moreland police.

Police said it appears that the tracking device was either removed or disabled after that point since no further transmissions were received.

Video recovered at the scene of the theft revealed the person who stole the vehicle had arrived in another vehicle, although no details could be made out about the other vehicle or the suspect since the video contained poor quality, police said.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Lower Moreland Detective Holly Halota at 215-947-3132 or through email at hhalota@lowermoreland.org.
