2 Suspects Nabbed For Retail Thefts In Lower Southampton Twp.
A Philadelphia man and Levittown woman hit two stores on July 5, police said.
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A Levittown woman and a Philadelphia man have been charged with retail thefts in two township stores, police said.
The Lower Southampton Township Police Department responded on July 5 to the ACME on East Street Road in Feasterville for the report of a retail theft in progress.
Police officers spotted two people loading a vehicle with merchandise.

It was reported that the man and woman had loaded a shopping cart with consumable items and fled the store without paying, police said.
The suspects were identified as Nicole Welsh, 46, of Levittown, and Oliver Lee, 45, of Philadelphia.

Both Welsh and Lee were charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal conspiracy.
Further investigation revealed that both were also identified as being in the Five-Below before entering the ACME and leaving that establishment with merchandise that they did not pay for, police said.
A second charge of retail theft was added for both.
During Lee's arrest, police found he had a controlled substance, which was added to his criminal complaint.
