2 Thefts Under Investigation In Lower Southampton Twp.

Lower Southampton Police seeks the public's help in identifying the suspects in two separate crimes last week.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Southampton Township Police Department is investigating two recent retail thefts.

Last Friday, police said a dark-colored SUV with a possible New Jersey tag arrived at the Giant Food Store and a black woman exited the passenger side.

The woman stole four boxes of king crab legs valued at $133, police said.

The woman was wearing a blue tank top under a white or beige hoodie with a Hello Kitty/sea shell design on the back, “skeleton bone” pants, and pink crocs over white socks.

She returned to the vehicle and a black male driver helped her place the items in the trunk, police said.

Police said they then drove to the business next door and the driver stole items outside in front of the entrance.

Meanwhile, on Oct. 2, police said a man used a stolen credit card to purchase items totaling $1,134.98 at a Best Buy store in South Philadelphia.

The card was stolen from a healthcare worker who was working in the township, police said. The suspect was driving a small white SUV.
