Car Crashes Into Pole On Brownsville Road

The Lower Southampton Township Police Department found a vehicle that was upside down on Sunday.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The car was upside down with the driver trapped inside.

The Lower Southampton Fire Department No. 1 responded Sunday to Brownsville Road for a car that crashed into a pole and then flipped over.

Fire crews found the driver still in the car. Fire crews removed the door and then released the driver from their seatbelt.

The driver was then handed over to Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad, fire officials said.

Trevose Fire Company Station 4/84 assisted with the rescue.

The Lower Southampton Police Department and Fire Police shut down Brownsville Road for about 45 minutes to clear the crash.
