Pedestrian Killed On Street Road ID'd By Bucks Coroner

The Bucks County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed while walking near the Bucks Crossing Shopping Center on Thursday.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A pedestrian who was struck and killed on Street Road Thursday morning has been identified, authorities said.

The Bucks County Coroner's Office has identified the pedestrian as Lawrence Bacchi, 75, of Southampton.

The coroner's office said Bacchi died from multiple injuries and that the cause of death was accidental.

The Lower Southampton Township Police Department said the crash occurred at 11 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Street Road and the Bucks Crossing Shopping Center by the ACME.

Police said a white pick-up truck struck a pedestrian and that the driver was being sought.

Police are asking drivers who may have traveled in that area during that time to check their in-car cameras if equipped (especially Tesla owners) and see if your video captured the crash or just prior to the crash.
