Girls award $20,000 to Chester County nonprofits

Six Chester County nonprofit agencies received $20,000 in grants from the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls, as part of the eighth cycle of its award-winning “By Girls, For Girls” grantmaking program. Through “By Girls, For Girls,” a group of 20 high school girls from all over Chester County recommend nonprofit agencies to receive grant funding that specifically addresses young women and girls’ economic, health and social needs in the county.
