In an exciting back and forth Championship game, the Malvern Paoli Redbirds prevailed over the Haverford Heat 10-9.
The Heat struck quickly by putting up 5 in bottom of 1st inning, but the Redbirds answered right back scoring 4 in top of 2nd.

From there both teams scratched out runs getting to a 8-8 tie in the 5th.
In bottom of 6th the Heat scored the go ahead run and got to 2 outs in the top 7th before the Redbirds struck back with a 2 run double.

The Redbirds then held off a Heat rally in the bottom of the 7th for the win and the Championship.
Great game by both teams and the perfect kind of game to conclude the weekend.

It was a very exciting Memorial Day baseball tourney hosted by Nether Providence Legion (at Strath Haven HS), with the Malvern Paoli Redbirds winning 3 consecutive 1 run games.
