New Traffic Patterns Around Route 29 Run Aug. 18-24

Route 29 AEI Construction Update August 18-24

The contractor has scheduled construction related activities that will impact Yellow Springs Road, Rt. 29 and *I-76 Saturday - through Friday (Aug. 18-24). 

TURNPIKE MAINLINE I-76:

*Saturday – Friday (Aug. 18-24) the contractor will resume overnight construction related activities, utilizing single-lane traffic restrictions that will periodically impact traffic on the Turnpike mainline.

YELLOW SPRINGS ROAD:

Monday – Friday (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) Yellow Springs Road will be closed to thru-traffic and a detour implemented over North Valley Road, East Swedesford Road and Route 29 (Morehall Road) during overhead bridge work.  Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. 

STATE ROUTE 29:

Monday-Friday (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) the right lane will be temporarily closed in either direction from Atwater Dr. (1000’ south) to Flat Road.

HOWELLS ROAD: 

No further road restrictions are required at this time.

All work is weather permitting and the contractor’s schedule subject to change.
