Blotter: Stolen Jewelry, Replica .45, SEPTA Drunk
The following arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Retail theft… Police are investigating the theft of approximately $200 worth of jewelery and accessories from that occurred on or before June 29.
Drugs, weapons charges... A 17-year-old male on the 200 block of West King Street was arrested July 9 for possession of drugs, possession of firearm by a minor and receiving stolen property. The boy reportedly had a heroin problem, and was in possession of a replica of a Civil War-era, 45-caliber black powder revolver.
Bad check... Police responded to a report of a person who gave two bad checks—one for $16 and another later in the day for $17—on June 8.

Disorderly conduct... A 26-year-old man on the 100 block of West King Street was cited for disorderly conduct after police received a report of a man screaming for over half hour. He was reportedly screaming at his girlfriend on the phone, and also arguing with his sister.
Disorderly conduct… On July 8, just before 8 p.m., police cited a SEPTA rider for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. SEPTA called the report in, saying that the man, a Berwyn resident, was being unruly and climbing over the seats.

Reward increased: The reward for information leading to identification of the person who vandalized a wall at Chester Valley Little League board member has risen again. It now stands at $400, according to CVLL board member Pete Lindstrom.
