Feminique, a sex shop and sexual education boutique that occupied Church Street in West Chester for the last five years, has closed its doors.
The store, which was a point of some contention in the borough about a year ago due to it's sign, is closing not because business isn't doing well, but because its owner, Jill McDevitt, has bigger plans in mind.
McDevitt told Philly.com that she "was never here to make a business … I had something to say," and that she was exploring other options to promote her sex-positive message.
