GVHS Juniors Recognized for Acing SAT Sections

At the Great Valley School Board , two students were recognized for perfect scores on sections of the SAT exam.

Jules Dupont, a junior, received a perfect score of 800 in the Critical Reading section. Peter Wang, also a junior, received a perfect score of 800 in the Writing section.

Great Valley High School principal Dan Goffredo congratulated the two students and noted that they're both involved in many other activities. He also brought parents up to speed on how the standardized test has changed.

"I know everyone in the room remembers the days of studying for the SATs," Goffredo said. "There are now three parts to the SATs, as a reminder; there's the critical reading, the math and the writing."
