Historic Sugartown Plans 'Cabin Fever Saturday'

Organizers say it will be a fun-filled family event at Sugartown's Carriage Museum.

Kids driving you crazy? Ward off the winter blahs at Historic Sugartown! On Saturday, February 7th, Historic Sugartown will offer Cabin Fever Saturday, a fun-filled family event at Sugartown’s Carriage Museum from 11 am – 3 pm. There will a variety of family-friendly crafts, old-fashioned games and demonstrations by Historic Sugartown, Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation and East Goshen Historical Commission. Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation’s educators will be on-hand to demonstrate early American papermaking. Craft a cornhusk doll. Create Victorian-style Valentine cards and other paper crafts just in time for Valentine’s Day. And try your hand at old-fashioned games. Historic Sugartown’s c. 1880 General Store will also be open for tours. Complimentary coffee and hot cocoa.

Cabin Fever Day Admission: Children ages 3 and up – $5; Accompanying Adults - $3; Kids under Age 3 – Free. Historic Sugartown is located at 690 Sugartown Road, at the corners of Spring and Boot Roads in Malvern. To reach Historic Sugartown’s Carriage Museum, enter 273 Boot Road, Malvern, PA, into your GPS and you’ll easily find our parking lot.
