Holi: Festival Of Colors In West Goshen Park
The Hindu festival celebrates the beginning of spring by throwing colorful powder, eating sweets and dancing.

MALVERN, PA —Holi, an ancient Hindu celebration of the beginning of spring with bright colors, is set from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 15, in West Goshen Community Park.
The festival, sponsored by the Uttar Pradesh Association of Greater Philadelphia, will feature a entertainment highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Holi including live dhol (drummer), a DJ, performances from participants of all ages, and lively dancing.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together to celebrate Holi and share in the joy and unity the festival represents,” said Ila Awasthi, association president.
