Malvern Charitable Foundation Supports Attainable Housing Fund

The Chester County Community Foundation received a grant recently from Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation for attainable housing.

MALVERN, PA — Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation has awarded a grant of $2,500 to the New Beginnings Attainable Housing Fund of the Chester County Community Foundation.

Created by the Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester, the New Beginnings Attainable Housing Fund hopes to help relieve the housing issue that persists today in Chester County.

The New Beginnings Attainable Housing Fund raises capital from charitable donors and then deploys it to nonprofit organizations, using grants and loans, for property development and rehabilitation projects that provide safe, attainable housing for people across Chester County.

Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation presented the award on Sept. 26 at the Malvern Foundation Charity Polo Event at the Brandywine Polo Club.

The award ceremony and event celebrate the work of the Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation. Patricia McLennan, Senior Vice President and Director of Community Development at the Bank, said, "The work of the New Beginnings Attainable Housing Fund fits the Bank, and its Charitable Foundation’s mission to assist our most vulnerable Chester County residents. We are pleased to support this important initiative to create accessible housing opportunities."

Gary Liddick voices his gratitude towards Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation's generous donation.
