New Leader Named For Great Valley School District Foundation
Mark Clark, a veteran non-profit leader, is the new executive director of the Great Valley School District Foundation.

GREAT VALLEY, PA — The Great Valley School District Education Foundation announced Friday that non-profit veteran Mark Clark has been appointed as the new executive director of the foundation.
Clark will lead the organization’s programming and collaborate on fundraising activities and donor engagement with Stephen Skoufalos, board president, and the executive board.
“Mark’s nonprofit leadership experience and public service history give him the unique ability to strengthen the foundation’s development initiatives and manage crucial support programs for the schools,” Skoufalos said.

“We are happy to welcome Mark as the new executive director of the foundation and look forward to growing together and supporting the mission of the foundation.”
Clark previously served as chief operations officer for The FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association, Inc., an association serving law enforcement executives across the nation.

He also served for 30 years as a police officer in Arizona. In 2016, Clark moved to Malvern to work in the nonprofit sector.
“I am so excited to be joining the foundation as executive director,” said Clark. “Having worked for a nationally known educational nonprofit for the past six years, I am excited to bring my experience in resource development and organizational leadership to the Great Valley schools community.”
Clark is a Certified Nonprofit Professional, credentialed through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, based in Kansas City, Mo. He has a master of science in criminal justice and a nachelor of arts in psychology.
Clark, and his wife, Sherry, live near the Great Valley High School campus in Charlestown Township. Clark is an avid photographer who also enjoys fly fishing and golf in his spare time.
