Paoli Hospital Provides New Stroke Detection Lab
The Main Line Health hospital invests in comprehensive stroke care, opening a state-of-the-art Neuro-Intervention Lab.

PAOLI, PA —Paoli Hospital, part of Main Line Health, has opened a state-of-the-art Neuro-intervention Lab, offering the most advanced diagnostics and treatment available for patients experiencing a stroke.
In collaboration with Jefferson Health Neurosurgery and Tele-Neurocritical Care Services, the new lab will bring leading neuro-intervention care to Chester County.
The lab features advanced imaging equipment available to guide neuro-interventional procedures, amenities to ensure patient comfort, and a collaborative environment where a team of specialists skilled in treating complex conditions can interact.

“Paoli Hospital is one of few community hospitals offering this level of advanced neuro-intervention care,” Jim Paradis, president of Paoli Hospital, said.

Paoli Hospital, Willistown Township, is a nationally recognized Primary Stroke Center, certified hospital by The Joint Commission, a nonprofit that accredits healthcare organizations.
Patients also have access to the full complement of neurosurgery and neuro-intervention services offered at Jefferson Health.
Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital provides support for patients who need special care after a stroke.
“Stroke is the leading cause of disability in the U.S., and timely treatment is the difference maker,” said Dr. Sumeet Multani, director of neuro-intervention services at Paoli Hospital and clinical assistant professor of neurosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University.
