LANSDALE, Pa. - At least six people were killed Monday in a multi-scene shooting spree in Montgomery County, authorities said, and the gunman is still on the loose. He has been identified as Bradley William Stone, 35, of Pennsburg.
Montgomery County law enforcement authorities identified Stone after an hours-long search for him came up empty. All victims have a “familial“ relationship with Stone, the Montgomery County District Attorney said. According to authorities, victims include Stone’s ex-wife and her family members.

Police are conducting an “extensive search” in and around Pennsburg. People in the area should remain indoors, keep their doors locked and call 911 if they think they have seen the suspect, the district attorney said.
Stone is described as 5’10”, 195 pounds, with short hair. He is currently clean-shaven and is known to use a cane or walker to assist him, according to authorities. Stone may be wearing military fatigues, in either sand or green color. Stone should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities warned.

A possible sighting of Stone has been reported in Doylestown, Bucks County. Authorities there are investigating.
One of the victims is Nicole Hill Stone, the shooter’s ex-wife, authorities have confirmed. She was shot in her Lower Salford Township residence and her two children were taken from the scene by the gunman, 6ABC reported.
Additional victims include Nicole Stone’s mother, Jo Anne Koder, and grandmother, Patricia Hill, who were both fatally shot inside their Lansdale home, according to NBC10. The victims in Souderton include Nicole Stone’s sister, husband, and their 14-year-old daughter; their 17-year-old son was also shot and was airlifted from the scene, the NBC report said.
Stone, who is described as a military veteran, was thought to have been barricaded inside the home at Franklin and Garfield streets in Souderton. The search has since moved to Pennsburg.
A neighbor in the Pheasant Run apartment complex in Lower Salford where Stone’s ex-wife lived told the Intelligencer she could hear children screaming, “I want my mom” during the time of the gunshots.
The second shooting, which claimed two victims, happened about a half-hour later in the 100 block of West 5th Street in Lansdale, the Morning Call reported.
As police investigated the first two shootings, they were dispatched to the Souderton location where more victims were located, according to reports.
Some area schools were placed on lockdown as a result of the police activity. All Pennridge schools were placed on lockdown and dismissal was delayed at Upper Perkiomen schools.
A ”shelter in place” that was in effect at Souderton Area School District was lifted at 10:45 a.m., the district said on its website.
North Penn schools were not on lockdown. “The North Penn School District has been in contact with law enforcement and we have been advised that a lock out at any of our buildings is NOT necessary. We will continue to monitor the situation throughout the day,” North Penn School District said on its website.
