• Chester County is getting together and hosting a hazardous waster and e-waste recycling event at the New Garden Township garage on Saturday, Sept 7, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The full list of what you can recycle and what the event will entail on the borough's website here.

• Willistown Township's planning department will meet on Sept 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Willistown Township building.

• Students in the Great Valley School District will get Thursday, Sept 5 off from school. No schools will be open, so plan accordingly.
