Willistown Supervisors Repeal Environmental Council
Several members had already resigned from the group, which lacked a clear agenda.

The Board of Supervisors voted Monday night to repeal the township's Environmental Advisory Council.
According to supervisor Norman MacQueen, the EAC did good work over the years, but lacked an agenda recently.
"Most of the commission had resigned because there really wasn't anything to do," supervisor Norman MacQueen said.

The Parks and Recreation Board and the Planning and Recycling commissions had already taken on parts of the EAC's core mission, rendering the council redundant, MacQueen said.
The vote on the repeal of the EAC—Ordinance 1 of 2012—was 2-0, with supervisor William Shoemaker absent.
