2nd Annual Brian Niedelman Golf Outing June 30 In Media

The outing will support three Delaware County families who lost husbands and fathers serving in law enforcement in the past year.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — The annual golf outing that honors fallen Marple Township Police Officer Brian Niedelman is all set for next month.

The Second Annual Brian Niedelman Golf Outing will take place on Thursday, June 30 at Paxon Hollow Golf Course in Media.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. on June 30 and play will begin at noon with a shotgun start.

Proceeds from the 2022 outing will go to three law enforcement officer families from Delaware County, who each lost a father and husband this past year.

According to police, the 2021 outing raised more than $50,000 and this year's outing hopes to beat that amount.

This year's event is still accepting sponsorships at all levels and is in need of items to raffle and include in a silent auction.

Paxon Hollow Golf Course is located at 850 Paxon Hollow Road in Media.

Niedelman died on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020. The married father of two was found dead in his car in Thomas Field.
