Basketball Event To Support American Cancer Society In Newtown Square

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — A charity basketball event Saturday in Newtown Square will support the American Cancer Society.

Saint Anastasia School in Newtown Square is partnering with Saint Pius X School in Broomall for a "Coaches Vs. Cancer" Basketball Challenge Saturday.

Games will feature the Junior Varsity and Varsity girls and boys programs from both schools.

The day begins at 1:45 p.m. with the JV girls.

Then at 3 p.m. the varsity girls will play.

JV boys are on at 4:15 p.m. and then varsity boys at 5:30 p.m.

All games will be held at Marple Newtown High School, 120 Media Line Road in Newtown Square.

Proceeds directly benefit the American Cancer Society.
