Car Break-Ins Reported In Newtown Township

Several unlocked vehicles were entered in the early morning Tuesday. Newtown Township Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Newtown Township are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after a man was captured on camera trying to get into cars recently.

According to police, the man was seen on a security camera trying to open vehicle doors at several residential homes at about 3:20 a.m. Tuesday.

The man got into several unlocked vehicles, police said.

"Please remember to lock your doors," police said. "Don't make it easy for them."
