Digital Footprint Management Event Planned In Delco

State Rep. Lisa Borowski is hosting an event that will help residents manage their digital presence as they plan their estates.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Delaware County residents can learn how to manage their online presence at an upcoming event in Newtown Square.

State Rep. Lisa Borowski is hosting a workshop titled "Digital Legacy Blueprint" on Sept. 30.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at the Newtown Square Library.

Attendees will learn how to protect and manage their online presence — including their social media, email, online banking, and more — all as part of their estate plan.

Without proper planning, families may struggle to access or close digital accounts after a loved one's passing, according to Borowski's office.

Borowski is teaming up with Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union for the event.

Chari M. Alson, Esq., CELA, a Certified Elder Law Attorney and partner at Anderson Elder Law in Media, will be the guest speaker.

Alson have more than two decades of experience in estate planning and elder law, and will guide attendees through practical steps to ensure your digital assets are handled according to your wishes.

A light lunch will be served.
