Expectant Mother Working With Coronavirus Patients: Broomall Hero

BROOMALL, PA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Geri McMenamin, who nominated her daughter Kaylie Durbsno.

Durbsno is a mother and expecting her second child, all performing cat scans for coronavirus patients at Lankenau Medical Center.

Kaylie is a wife to husband Robert and a mom to a 2-year-old daughter. She is pregnant with her second child. She goes to work each day treating patients with the virus. All the while leaving her family each day and returns at the end of the day to them
