Foxes are a rabies vector species, according to the group, and trapping, handling and transporting foxes is illegal without a specific license to do so.
GoodBoy Dog Recovery said the fox was only spotted once, and it's unclear where it lives.
They urged members of the public not to try to intervene, and reiterated untrained assistance can lead the fox to become more injured or even die.
After the fox is captured, it will be taken to a rehab facility to be sedated and have the plastic piping removed from its next, the group said.
The group has cameras and a feeding station out for the fox.
Residents are asked to share any security camera footage that may have captured the fox with the group by texting 484-485-0706.
Please share across Delaware County, Pa and check your security cameras if you live anywhere in this area and text the number on the flyer if you have spotted this fox. When reporting a sighting of the fox, be sure to note the day, time, and direction of travel.
