Massive Indoor Pickleball Facility Coming To Delaware County

BROOMALL, PA — Grab your paddles, Delco: a massive pickleball facility is coming to Broomall.

Urban Edge Properties recently said it has signed The Picklr, North America's fastest growing indoor pickleball franchise, for a 42,073-square-foot facility at Broomall Commons, 2940 Springfield Road in Broomall.

Urban Edge owns Broomall Commons.

"The Picklr brings a high-demand use to Broomall Commons and we expect the increased foot traffic will benefit all of our tenants," Justin Lustig, Vice President of Leasing at Urban Edge said. "This is the first pickleball club in Urban Edge’s portfolio and we believe that as the concept grows nationally, we will see more facilities opening at our well-located properties."

The Picklr offers professional-grade outdoor surfacing, onsite snacks and drinks, and access to free leagues, tournaments and clinics. Additionally, players can also find retail such as apparel and equipment.

There is no word on when the facility will open.
