Newtown Square Fire Co's 86th Semi-Annual Flea Market Is Sept 29

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — The Newtown Square Fire Company is hosting its semi-annual flea market later this month.

The event will take place Sunday, Sept. 29 ate the Newtown Square Shopping Center. 3590 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square.

Selling hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendors will set up at 7 a.m.

In the event of rain, the market will be held Oct. 6.

Those interested in selling wares can reserve a table by mailing in a completed registration form, which is available online here.

The price is $40 per space, which are two 8-foot parking spots. Spaces are $45 on the day of the event. Vehicles over 16 feet long will require an additional space. There is an additional charge of $20 per 8 feet.

If the rain date cannot be made by vendors, or is rained-out, donations are not refundable, officials said.

If the sale must be stopped after noon for any reason, such as weather, organizers will consider it a full day.

Due to liability issues, volunteers from the firehouse are not permitted or able to assist in the setting up or taking down any vendor spaces, tents or merchandise.
