MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Marple investigated rumors of masked people roaming the township during power outages in the wake of last week's storms.

Marple authorities Saturday said they received reports of masked people in the township that were shared widely on social media.

Police said they investigated all calls regarding masking people and found no such masked individuals.

Officers continued to patrol areas where power was out over the weekend.

As of 8:23 a.m. Monday, 210 PECO customers in Marple still do not have power.
