Ruth's Chris Opening Delaware County Location This Month

The popular steakhouse chain will open March 31 in Newtown Square, offering up New York strips, tomahawk ribeyes, and more beef cuts.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Steak lovers in Delaware County will soon have a new spot to satisfy their inner carnivore, as Ruth's Chris Steak House is set to open a Newtown Square location this month.

Ruth's Chris will open March 31 at 3745 Equus Boulevard in Newtown Square's Ellis Preserve.

The restaurant will be led by General Manager Michael Krywucki and Executive Chef Adam Iritsky.

"Our founder, Ruth Fertel, believed that dining at an upscale steak house should feel approachable for everyone," Krywucki said. "Our team is excited to welcome guests and introduce Newtown Square to the exceptional service and perfectly sizzling steaks Ruth’s Chris is known for."

Ruth’s Chris Steak House’s menu offers a variety of premium steaks prepared using a patented broiling method. Each cut is seasoned to perfection and served sizzling on a 500-degree plate, so the last bite is just as good as the first.

Popular selections include the center-cut filet, aged for peak tenderness and flavor, the bone-in New York strip and the 40-ounce, marbled tomahawk ribeye.

Guests can also enjoy other steak house classics, including seafood, appetizers, sides served family-style, and desserts made in-house.

The bar offers handcrafted cocktails and an award-winning wine list.

This new restaurant spans 8,272 square feet, featuring a main dining room, expansive bar area, patio seating and space for private events.

The dining room is open daily for dinner, with hours Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
