Trash Collection for Veteran's Day
Some Marple Newtown residents will see a trash collection change on Monday, Nov. 12.
Both Marple and Newtown municipal buildings will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12, in observance of Veteran's Day.
Below is a trash and recyclable pick-up schedule for Marple Newtown on Veteran's Day:
Marple Township—Administrative offices will be closed. Trash and leaves will not be collected on this day. Residents on a Monday and Thursday schedule will only have trash collected on Thursday this week. Storm debris collection will be made on Nov. 15 and Nov. 16.

Newtown Township—Administrative offices will be closed. Municipal trash removal is not provided by the township. Please check with your private collector. Leaf collection in the township is currently being picked up for the third and sixth precincts. Leaves in those precincts will be collected through Nov. 16.
