Tree Falls On Vehicle, Kills Man In Delaware County: Reports
A tree fell on a vehicle in Aston Township at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, reportedly killing a 70-year-old Delaware man.
ASTON, PA — A tree fell onto a vehicle, killing a man, in Delaware County during Wednesday's strong winds and heavy rains, according to police and news reports.
The incident occurred at about 7:35 p.m. on Pennell Road between Mt. Alverno Road and Jessica Way in Aston Township, local police said.
Action News reports the falling tree hit the top of a Chevy Cruze, and the driver did not survive the impact.

The driver has been identified by the Delaware County Daily Times as Michael Kranyak, 70, of Wilmington.
