Trout Stocking In Delco Creeks Starts In Early March

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Calling all Delaware County-area anglers: trout stocking begins next month.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission recently announced it will begin stocking Delaware County creeks with trout in early March.

The first stocking events are scheduled for March 2 in two parts of Ridley Creek.

• March 2 — Ridley Creek
• March 8 — West Branch Chester Creek
• March 9 — Little Darby Creek; Ithan Creek; Darby Creek
• March 11 — Darby Creek
• March 23 — Chester Creek
• April 5 — Chester Creek; Ridley Creek; West Branch Chester Creek
• April 11 — Chester Creek; Ridley Creek
• April 14 — Darby Creek
• April 19 — Darby Creek; Ithan Creek; Little Darby Creek
• April 27 — Chester Creek; Ridley Creek
• May 5 — Darby Creek
• May 9 — Chester Creek; Ridley Creek; West Branch Chester Creek
• Oct. 6 — Ridley Creek
