3 Killed In Delaware County Crash, Fire Tuesday Morning
Three people are dead after a crash on the Media Bypass Tuesday morning in Upper Providence Township, officials said.
UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — A Tuesday morning crash in Delaware County killed three people, according to authorities.
The crash occurred at about 7:55 a.m. on the southbound lane of the Media Bypass between State Road and Route 252, Upper Providence Police said.
Delaware County authorities said a community transit van rear-ended a vehicle that was towing a dumpster.

The van subsequently caught fire, officials said.
The van's the driver and two passengers died in the fire, according to authorities.

Police said the passengers were pulled from the bus by passersby, but they were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The driver was trapped in the bus and died at the scene, as well.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
