DELAWARE COUNTY, PA β Five of the six key coronavirus metrics dropped in Delaware County over the last week, according to Pennsylvania health officials.
The latest data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health shows the only metric to increase was the average daily COVID-19 patients on ventilators.
That metric increased from 1 to 1.6

Newly reported confirmed cases went from 773 to 676.
The county's incidence rate per 100,000 people dropped from 136.4 to 119.3.

The PCT testing positivity rate decreased from 14.3 percent to 13.5 percent.
Average daily COVID-19 specific hospitalizations went down from 41.1 to 24.6.
Lastly, the percent of hospital emergency department visits due to coronavirus-like illness decreased from 1.3 percent to 0.9 percent.
According to the state, Delaware County has had 108,388 confirmed cases and 1,914 coronavirus deaths to date.
