DELAWARE COUNTY, PA β The coronavirus is waning in Delaware County, according to the latest data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
New data shows all six key coronavirus metrics have dropped over the past week.
Newly reported cases went down from 516 to 386.

The county's incidence rate per 100,000 people dropped from 91 to 68.1
The PCR testing positivity rate saw a slight decreased from 12.5 to 10.5 percent.

Average daily COVID hospitalizations went down but very slightly, going from 27.7 to 27.3.
And average daily COVID patients on ventilators dropped a bit from 5.9 to 5.1.
Lastly, the percent of hospital emergency department visits due to COVID-like illnesses decreased from 2.2 percent to 1.7 percent.
State data shows Delaware County has seen 113,286 cases and 1,958 virus-related deaths to date.
