DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Five of the six key coronavirus metrics dropped over the past week in Delaware County, according to the latest data from the state.
Of the six key metrics, the percent of hospital emergency department visits due to COVID-like illness remained unchanged at 1 percent.
Newly reported confirmed cases decreased from 490 to 376.

The incidence rate went down from 86.5 to 66.3.
Delaware County's PCR positive testing rate saw a slight drop, going from 11.7 percent to 11.5 percent.

Average daily COVID-19 specific hospitalizations decreased from 30.4 to 23.4
And lastly, average daily COVID-19 patients on ventilators went down from 5.6 to 4.
To date, Delaware County has seen 110,463 confirmed cases of the virus and 1,926 virus related deaths.
