Delco ShopRite Recalls Meat Products
The 80, 85 and 93 percent lean ground beef, meatloaf mix, and ground pork has been recalled.
EDDYSTONE, PA β A Delaware County grocery store is recalling ground meat sold this week. According to officials, the ShopRite of Eddystone, located at 1568 Chester Pike Unit B-1, initiated a voluntary recall of store-made ground meat produced and sold Monday.
The recalled products include all store-made packages of 80, 85 and 93 percent lean ground beef, meatloaf mix and ground pork with a sell-by date of July 14.
That ground meat may contain small metal fragments due to a problem with the meat grinder. Officials said this is an isolated incident and affects only the Eddystone location.
