In Chadds Ford Township, a 64-year-old male reported a theft of American Airlines miles on Oct. 10, 2025. The victim stated he received an alert about unauthorized use of his miles to purchase concert tickets, resulting in a loss of approximately $2,126.65. Another theft report came from Thornbury Township on Oct. 8, 2025. A 44-year-old female from Glen Mills reported that a check she mailed to American Express was intercepted and cashed by an unknown individual. Police are investigating this wire fraud incident.
On Jan. 5, 2026, troopers responded to a disturbance at Riddle Hospital in Middletown Township. A 50-year-old male from Upper Chichester was observed blocking the main entrance and allegedly physically grabbed a walker from an elderly woman. He was taken into custody and issued a non-traffic citation for disorderly conduct before being released at a nearby Wawa.

Concord Township saw two incidents reported. On Dec. 6, 2025, a 38-year-old female from Claymont, Delaware, was arrested for retail theft at Wegmans, where about $588.45 worth of groceries were reported stolen. On Oct. 16, 2025, a 29-year-old male from Glen Mills reported an attempted catalytic converter theft from his 2009 Honda CRV at 255 Wilmington Westchester Pike. Police are investigating the attempted theft.
