How Much Rain Fell Across Delaware County Sunday And Monday?

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County got significant amounts of rain Sunday night into Monday morning, with more than 3 inches falling in some areas.

The National Weather Service updated its rainfall totals from the recent storm Monday morning.

According to the newest totals are below:

• Thornton — 3.76 inches at 5:28 a.m. (Citizen Weather Observer Program)
• 5 S Madison — 3.66 inches at 9:30 a.m. (Aviation Weather Center)
• Aston — 3.51 inches at 8:27 a.m. (Public)
• Upper Chichester 1.4 W — 3.45 inches at 7 a.m. (Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network)
• Villanova 0.9 SW — 3.18 inches at 7 a.m. (Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network)
• Swarthmore — 3.13 inches at 9:30 a.m. (Citizen Weather Observer Program)
• Saint Davids — 3.07 inches at 5:15 a.m. (Citizen Weather Observer Program)
• Springfield 0.1 NNW — 2.68 inches at 8 a.m. (Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network)
• Media — 2.59 inches at 5:30 a.m. (Citizen Weather Observer Program)
• Chadds Ford Twp — 2.48 inches at 8:30 a.m. (Hydrometeorological Automated Data System)

In the five county region, Thornton had the highest total.
