Lanes Closing On I-476 Across Delaware County Next Week
PennDOT said the closures will accommodate work on a $63.7 million project to resurface, repair and improve nearly 17 miles of I-476.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Highway repair work will affect traffic on Interstate 476 in Delaware County next week, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, paving and utility construction will take place next week on Interstate 476 across Delaware County.
Driver are advised of the following travel restrictions:

- Tuesday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on sections of southbound I-476 between the U.S. 30 and I-95 interchanges for paving.
- Tuesday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on sections of northbound I-476 between the Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and I-76 interchanges for utility construction.
- Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Rose Valley Road between Osborne Lane and Avondale Road in Nether Providence Township for overhead bridge repair.
This work is part of a $63.7 million project to resurface, repair and improve nearly 17 miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps and bridges from I-76 in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, to I-95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur.
